Consortium, Exchange, & Foreign Study


Full-time UNH students have the opportunity to participate in many domestic exchange programs and foreign study programs without withdrawing from the University.  Students who are interested in any of these programs should contact the appropriate office (see list below) for information on eligibility, applications and deadlines.

Paula DiNardo in the National Exchange Office, Hood House, is the contact person for the New Hampshire College and University Council (NHCUC Consortium) Exchange Program, the National Student Exchange Program,  the University of California-Santa Cruz Exchange Programs, and for the Washington Center for Internships.

Jeff Sherman at the Center for International Education, Hood House, will provide general information on programs offered through the center and will assist students interested in study abroad programs including the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences Budapest University of Technology and Economics Program.

Joy Winston in the English department, Hamilton-Smith Hall is the contact person for the London Program and for the Cambridge Summer Program.

Kevin Sousa (603-862-1957) at Justiceworks, Huddleston Hall, is the contact person for the College of Liberal Arts Justice Studies Budapest Program.

The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures offers study abroad programs in Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Mexico, and Spain.  Contact Barbara Armstrong (603) 862-4005 for information.
