What if the Student has not completed his/her coursework?

A student may request an “IC” grade if he/she has completed a major portion of the coursework and the instructor approves.

For the official ruling on Incompletes, please consult the Student Rights, Rules and Responsiblities Hand Book.

A notation of Incomplete (IC) shall be recorded on a student’s record only if:

1) The student requests an incomplete, and
2) A major portion of the coursework is completed, and
3) The instructor approves the request for additional time.

For each incomplete assigned, a green “Incomplete/Administrative F” form must be completed and signed by the instructor. Forms are available in the Registrar’s Office or online at the link above must be filed with the final grade roster.

You do not need to bring the IC/AF forms to the Registrar’s Office. You may send them via campus or US mail. It is important to send them as soon as possible because the Deans’ Offices use the information on the forms to make academic decisions after the grades are posted.
