The funding opportunities listed below have limits
upon how many proposals may be submitted by UNH. To facilitate a fair and strategic University-wide
selection process, please indicate your interest in applying to any of these
programs (except where noted) by sending a 1-2 page summary of your intended project to the
Vice President for Research no later than 2
months before the sponsor's deadline. If more PIs indicate interest than the number of
proposals allowed, the VPR and his Faculty Advisory Committee will make
strategic choices re: which proposals will go forward from UNH. If it is past the internal deadline (but before the
sponsor's deadline) you may still contact the VPR to see if there are any
remaining openings. Occasionally the nature of a program requires that a special competition be conducted or a longer proposal preparation period be allowed. For these programs, a Note indicating the revised internal deadline appears below the
