- Reflect on who you are as a unique individual
- Give volume to your voice to assert your needs and desires
- Gain confidence in who you are on the inside and outside
- Develop techniques and skills to nurture yourself
- Rediscover your already fierce and fabulous self
The group will teach you about the practices of meditation, journaling, and creative arts as ways to take care of yourself and continue growing after the retreat has ended.

Dawn D. ZitneyDawn has always had an interest in the ways women come to know themselves and identify with the world around them. Dawn believes self-discovery is essential for women to uncover their personal power and live courageous lives.Dawn helped create this group with the hope of offering UNH women a safe and inspiring place to learn more about who they are and what they value. Corey BrownCorey is an Expressive Arts Therapist, and believes that discovering our creative sides through writing/journaling, art, music and movement, can help a person to understand themselves from a different point of view. As an alumness of UNH's Women Studies Department, Corey has a sincere interest in women; their sense of self, and relationships with others.With an open heart and open mind, Corey affirms the dignity and worth of all people.
