The course "Internet: An Introduction" is normally scheduled and presented every month. There are several different instructors. The current outline contains more material than can be covered in two hours, in the expectation that each instructor will cover the core material -- emphasizing the Web and Web browsing -- and choose from the other topics as time permits.

The outline assumes live presentation and discussion. There are, however, some Internet self-tutorials available online. See particularly the links for Newbie-U, RoadMap96, and the Internet Tourbus. And, yes, we recognize that there is a boostrapping issue here, that to make use of such tutorials you already need at least minimal ability to use the Internet!

The following UNH-Durham campus courses are all or in large part about using the Internet:

CS403, Online Network Exploration.
