Students who are taking their first Spanish course at UNH and who have had 2
years or more of prior instruction in Spanish must take a placement exam before
registering. The placement exam is available online at the Parker Language
Resource Center, Murkland G15 and the computer clusters located in McConnell and
Kingsbury.

Students who have had 2 or more years of previous Spanish instruction may not
take SPAN 401 for credit.
SPAN 401-402 together satisfy the LA foreign language requirement.
Spanish 501 will also be offered Summer 2008, Session 1, (5/26-6/27).
SPAN 503 or 504 satisfy both the Gen Ed Group 5 requirement & the LA
foreign language requirement.
SPAN 525 satisfies the Gen Ed Group 5 requirement.
SPAN 500, 521, 522, 650, 651, 652, 653, and 654 satisfy the Gen Ed Group 8
requirement.
